Pizza Dough

Water1 2/3 cups
Olive oil2 tbsp
Salt2 1/2 tsp
special bread flour5 1/3 cups
dry yeast2 1/2 tsp

Everyone loves pizza! This easy, triple batch dough can be used to feed a crowd or reserved in the freezer so that you can have a speedy weeknight supper solution ready and waiting when you need it.

Instructions

  1. Measure all the ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed. Place the bread pan into the machine.
  2. Select Program # 13. Start the program by pressing the On/Off button.
  3. At the end of the program, turn the machine off and remove the bread pan.
  4. Turn the dough out of the pan onto a floured surface. Divide the dough into 3 portions. (At this point, dough can be tightly wrapped and refrigerated for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month.)
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll or stretch each ball of dough to fi t a 12-inch (30 cm) pizza pan. Top with assorted pizza toppings.
  6. Bake the pizzas on the lower rack for 10 to 15 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
