Apple-Walnut Honey Loaf

Water1 1/3 cups
Butter1/4 cup
Honey5 tsp
Granulated sugar2 1/2 tsp
Apples3/4 cup
Walnuts1/3 cup
Salt1 1/2 tsp
special bread flour1 1/2 cups
Wholemeal flour2 1/2 cups
dry yeast1 1/4 tsp

This warm, nutty loaf is even more scrumptious when served with an additional drizzle of honey.

Instructions

  1. Measure all the ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed. Place the bread pan into the machine.
  2. Select Program # 2, the appropriate chosen loaf weight and the Light crust colour. Start the program by pressing the On/Off button.
  3. At the end of the program, turn the machine off and remove the bread pan. Turn the bread onto a cooling rack. (If necessary, turn the bread onto its side to remove the kneading paddles with the hook provided.) Cool completely before slicing.
